“Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we care for”
We are dedicated to providing exceptional care for the elderly, and we invite passionate and caring individuals to join our team.
At Meadowcroft, we practice values-based recruitment to ensure our team embodies the overall principles that guide our work.
We want people who embody our values. Are you compassionate, patient, with a genuine desire to help others? Being a good listener and having a positive attitude are also essential qualities.
We believe in providing not just care, but compassion and companionship. Our home is like a family. Open communication and support are integral to our work environment, ensuring that you always feel valued and heard.
Integral to the culture of our Company; treat people with kindness, dignity, and respect then our work will be rewarding and fulfilling.
Every decision we make is better when made with a calm and composed approach; calmness helps us to manage the challenges and demands we face.
Embrace creativity to find innovative solutions in our work.
Take responsibility for our own actions, attitude, impact, and career development.
You will start the day supporting residents with their morning routines. After breakfast we guide residents to the lounge for themed activities, where staff might dress up and join in the fun. A “normal” day will include laundry, tidying rooms, delivering drinks, and most importantly, engaging with residents.
Afternoon shifts involve more activities, a food and drink service, and interacting and engaging with visitors and professionals. Although our residents might prefer to stay home, some enjoy occasional walks outside the home.
Night shifts focus on preparing residents for bed and ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
We prioritise training to ensure high standards of care. During both day and night shifts emergencies may occur, but our well-trained staff and on-call managers are always ready.
What sets us apart is our strong community involvement with local nurseries, churches, Beavers (the younger section of Scouting), and local charities. We encourage staff to participate in these activities and consider engagement with the community a priority, we always love it when our staff come up with new ideas to do this!
The role requires patience, kindness, and a willingness to join in all home activities. If you are dedicated and compassionate, we’d love to have you on our team!
We provide comprehensive training for all new staff. You'll learn about our care practices, how to assist with daily activities, and ways to create a nurturing environment.
Our experienced staff are always available to mentor and guide you, helping you grow both personally and professionally.
Working at Meadowcroft is incredibly rewarding. You'll have the opportunity to see the smiles on our residents' faces and know that you've made a positive impact on their day. The impact you can have here is truly special, making this more than just a job – it's a career in care.
If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of the elderly and embody our values of calmness, creativity, and responsibility, we invite you to apply and become a part of our dedicated team.
“If you are dedicated and compassionate, we’d love to have you on our team!”
