With over 20 years of experience in social care, Susan brings expertise and dedication to her role as Meadowcroft’s Home Manager. She began her journey as a Care Assistant, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in domiciliary care and nursing homes. Her passion for learning and teaching led her to become a Training Officer, where she has spent 15 years training care workers to deliver high standards of care before returning as Deputy Manager and then Manager at Meadowcroft.
Specialising in Dementia and Palliative Care, Susan is committed to ensuring that all residents receive the very best care and that staff receive comprehensive, high-quality training. Her focus on Person-Centred Care ensures our residents receive exceptional support, tailored to their unique needs. Susan’s dedication and leadership create a supportive and compassionate environment for residents, families, and staff alike.
Ramona is our Deputy Manager. She has been an integral part of Meadowcroft for the past 6 years, with the last two spent as a shift leader. Her dedication to providing exceptional care and her ability to lead by example have earned her the respect and admiration of both her colleagues and residents. Ramona is passionate about her role, finding great joy and fulfilment in caring for those at Meadowcroft. As she puts it, "Caring for the residents here is both a pleasure and an honour. My day is complete when my residents are happy, because their happiness is what drives me."
Susan & Ramona are supported by a dedicated team, including our carers, on site cooks and cleaners who all work together to deliver the highest levels of care for our residents. Our approach is one of collaboration to support each other, residents and families, as we provide care, companionship and encouragement to our residents.

Our care team provide high quality care, tailoring all aspects of your loved one’s care to their unique needs.
Our care assistants get to know your loved one well, so they understand what they find difficult and need help with, and what they can still do independently. We can support your loved one with everything from bathing and dressing, or simply enjoying a more social and fulfilling lifestyle.
We offer respite care and request a minimum period of three weeks to enable us to properly care for your or your loved ones needs and get to know you! We often have people who return regularly for respite care.
A Care Champion is someone who is recognised as an expert in providing crucial care and support to Service users in all aspects of their daily living. Our champions have specialist knowledge and skills in a particular area of care.
Our champions are becaons of best practice, undertake extra training and support and develop the whole team to provide expert knowledge in their specialist fields. Our champions are dedicated to improving a their specialist area, receiving specific training and qualifications in their chosen area.
Rose's deep understanding of Parkinson's disease and its impact on our residents and their families enables her to provide personalised care plans tailored to meet our residents' specific needs. She listens attentively, offers emotional support, and provides reassurance during challenging times, demonstrating empathy and compassion in every interaction.
Susan plays a pivotal role as our Infection Prevention and Control Champion, actively promoting and ensuring strict adherence to practices that safeguard the well-being of everyone in our care homes. Her dedication helps minimise the risk of healthcare-associated infections, protecting residents, staff, and visitors from the spread of infectious diseases.
In addition, Susan is also a Mental Health and First Aid Champion, providing vital support for the mental well-being of both residents and staff. She fosters a supportive environment where mental health is prioritised, offering guidance, resources, and compassionate care to those in need.

As our End-of-Life Care Champion, Ramona serves as a strong advocate for our residents' wishes and preferences, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected. She works hard to uphold their dignity, autonomy, and quality of life, advocating for personalised care plans that honour their individual needs and preferences.
Hosneara’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development enables her to provide the highest standard of dementia care. She stays abreast of the latest research, best practices, and innovations in dementia care, sharing her knowledge and expertise with our team members to enhance the quality of care we provide.
Sabina's role as our Oral Health Champion at Meadowcroft is instrumental in promoting dental hygiene and overall oral health among our residents. Sabina encourages residents to adopt and maintain good oral hygiene practices as part of their daily routine. She provides practical tips, demonstrations, and motivational support to help residents brush, floss, and rinse effectively, promoting healthy teeth and gums.
